Professional Leaning Community
SUS Online faculty and staff are supported through involvement in a Professional Learning Community (PLC) focused on various aspects of online learning and Online Students Learning Outcomes (OSLO). Besides expert training organized periodically following a semester schedule put out by office of online services, PLC meets biweekly using Zoom as a platform for synchronous online presentations and discussions. If you are new to Zoom, you visit their Getting Started page for simple instructions related to the desktop or mobile device you use to attend.
The meeting topics are listed below and anyone may attend live by clicking on the “Join” links below at the day and time of events. Slides and recordings will be posted shortly after each session.
Join the COLP-PLC Listserv
A general COLP Listserv connects interested SU faculty and staff from the System campuses and provides a forum for SU staff to send news and announcements to the COLP Community. Members of the SU COLP are automatically subscribed and they can invite faculty from their respective units to join. This Listserv is for the sole use of the SU System; no vendors are permitted to subscribe and no email addresses are shared with outside groups.
